The Downbeat Detonators play their own unique brand of rocksteady and ska, inspired by the era of Jamaican music during the '60s and '70s. Horn driven melodies, organ scorchers, sweet vocal harmonies and a strong rocksteady riddim section are the main ingredients of their explosive mix of ska, rocksteady, early reggae and calypso.
