⚡️ January 28, 16:00 – 18:30
🦇 ACU, Voorstraat 71, Utrecht
In September 2022, a court in Tyumen arrested six antifascists. One of the arrested is accused of organizing a terrorist group, and the rest – of participation. The criminal case was fabricated based on the self-incriminating testimonies obtained under severe torture. The accused were choked, waterboarded, and electrocuted. Now, they all face severe sentences, even a life sentence for Nikita Oleinik.
Nikita Oleinik studied to become a surgeon while working as a cab driver, nurse, and courier. He founded a small anarchist library in Surgut, which mainly contained books about philosophy, anthropology, and sociology. He was chosen by the police to be appointed the “leader of the terrorist organization”. All of the evidence against him stems from the testimonies obtained under torture.
There was never a “terrorist organization”. And yet this doesn’t stop the FSB and Russian corrupt judiciary system from ruining the lives of the young men. It’s crucial for us now to show our support and bring light and hope to them. Join us on January 28th in Utrecht to lend a helping hand to people resisting Putin’s regime!
