Since releasing their debut EP ‘Newshounds’ in April, Knives are focussing on premiering their noisy songs to new audiences throughout the scene with support slots, festival inclusions or headlining shows. Their ep saw 10,000 streams in the first month of release, igniting a path to increase their audience before their  next releases. The Bristolian Post Punk collection have already performed their aggressive tunes to the attendees of Ritual Union, Outer Town Fest, their sold out Bristol Rough Trade headliner, and new crowds whilst supporting bands such as; Life, James and the Cold Gun, and Soul Glo. They have also brought their energetic live show to London with an exciting London debut at the Victoria Dalston presented by Klyphex Presents. following in the footsteps of many flagship punk bands, Knives along with their idles-esq noise are rapidly increasing their name, quickly climbing onto festival lineups and support slots. The band’s enthusiasm is led by vocalist Jay Schottlander alongside  their saxophonist Maddy Hill (yes, they have a sax player!), guitar  players Josh Cook and Dan Farren with Ben Marshall on bass who are all brought together by drummer Erin Cook.
