Combination of Hardcore, Hip-Hop, and Industrial Full of Social Critique Results in Furious Live Shows

The English noise duo Benefits delivers angry and socially critical tracks, blending hardcore, hip-hop, and industrial rock into a furious whole. In 2023, they released their abrasive debut album ‘NAILS’ on Invada Records, which received much praise from critics and numerous accolades as album of the year. With singer Kingsley Hall and Robbie Major on synths and noise, the duo creates inspiring and loud live shows, combining their hard-hitting tracks with moments of vulnerability and emphasizing their message of social justice. As they strive to maintain the momentum of their debut and prepare for the release of their follow-up, they will be performing several shows in the Netherlands this fall, not skipping the city of Utrecht.

Etta HarBar creates harsh noise and chaotic breaks using modified toys and hacked technology. Originally from Minneapolis, MN, Etta decided to stay in Utrecht when she was 18. Here, she was inspired by the local music scene and began making her own music. In every performance, she tries something new. Lately, she has been exploring noise and breakcore, with fast, chaotic beats. If there are any melodies, you can expect them to be heavily distorted.
