Lärmschutz [STRING & BRASS NOISE]

You never heard a trombone, violin and mandolin this balls-to-the-wall-noisy before. Lärmschutz is a noise duo from Utrecht, with more than 11 years behind their belt. They run noise cassette label Faux Amis, recorded with Eugene Chadbourne, Trevor Dunn, Mauro Pawlowski among others. Inspiration comes from anything between a broken down record player, a wailing ambulance siren and rowdy freejazz. String and brass noise of the most gritty kind.

Maria Carlas & Mylo Cywitz [Vocals and Noise]
Maria Carlas brings her flexible voice, impulsive key work and synth ballads to Mylo Cywitz  classical industrial compositions. Their live show includes a costumed show, a candle lit music stand and accompanying visuals as they wail on obscure minisynths, a glockenspiel, a mandolin, bass guitar and a recorder.
Maria Carlas (IT) and Mylo Cywitz (NL) started in 2017 performing shows together.

Going places, still doesn’t what the fuck he is doing, even in this world. Doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing. As shifting derivatives become frozen through frantic and personal practice, as spatial phenomena become transformed through frantic and personal practice, the viewer is left with an epitaph for the edges of our future. A sense of what could have been the ephemeral nature of the mind. Ever since I was a teenager I have been fascinated by the endless oscillation of the human condition. What starts out as hope soon becomes manipulated into a tragedy of lust, leaving only a sense of dread and the prospect of a new understanding.
