“Notausgang” by Die Verlierer is a sharp musical escape forward. The Berlin band’s second album, released via Mangel Records, is a gift in dark times—fourteen tracks that mirror personal struggles and life in Berlin today.

Themes of powerlessness, loneliness, and excess intertwine with critiques of gentrification and the rising far right. Yet, the band stays true to their sound, blending post-punk and Neue Deutsche Welle with raw energy and melody.

With diverse vocals adding depth, Notausgang goes beyond mere observation—it’s an emotional emergency exit, shaking listeners awake and pulling them in.

Desinteresse
Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave band consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem
(vocals/synth/guitar). The band comes from the southern province Limburg and was officially
formed in November 2022. The band started out as a duo, but has been functioning as a
three piece since 2024. Their latest release is the 7” single ‘Grijze Dromen’ (August 2024).

All releases up until now have been released on their own label ‘DECADENCE’.
Their aim is to recreate the sound from a past era, using only analog equipment, seeing this as a form of
art, identity and expression.

Cold, abandoned and non-existential feelings mark the melancholic and gloomy atmosphere
on stage. Still sounds and voices are not primary – though the message is.

Rehash

The Antwerp (post-)punk band Rehash blows the audience away with their raw sound. Founded in 2021, they have quickly become an iconic player in the local punk scene.
With fast, peculiar riffs and German-language lyrics, they shake up the established order and provide a rebellious soundtrack for the youth of Antwerp.
In 2024 they released their first EP on the German label Mangel.
