Folk Punk Dinsdag: Mama’s Broke (CA) and Salivation (PT)
Mama’s Broke is a Canadian folk duo from Halifax, Nova Scotia, composed of multi-instrumentalists Amy Lou Keeler and Lisa Maria. Formed in 2014, they are known for their haunting harmonies and genre-defying sound that blends elements of old-time, Quebecois, blues, punk, Celtic, Balkan, and even doom metal. If it sounds like we’re describing a memorable ACU night, is because it will be! Our friends from Portugal Salivation will open the show with a folk punk set. Tinnitus Patches will have a table throughout the night selling their latest designs made from recycled fabrics. This is a train friendly show with music ending before 11.
