SHOEGAZE: Laura Palmer, Thrilled & Vixsin
come in alone presents shoegaze at ACU

after a sold-out first edition, come in alone returns for another night of distorted reverb and glorious glide guitar, with three bands from the upper echelon of the shoegaze scene in the netherlands and beyond: laura palmer, thrilled and vixsin!
music to dream away or dance hard to – bring earplugs!
laura palmer embraces shoegaze with a pinch of modern experimentation. she is a four-piece
band, balancing on abrasive melodies, floating drones and dreamy soundscapes. the result is a
melting dystopian soundtrack, alienatingly thundering through chaos
heavy shoegaze anthems with interesting chord progressions and big dynamic shifts caused by ear piercing fuzzes and huge drums are what thrilled is all about. inspired by shoegaze, but also grunge, emo and many more genres. thrilled’s loud and fuzzy cacophony will give you all the goosebumps you need for the week. for fans of: slowdive, whirr and trauma ray
vixsin is a shoegaze project from groningen founded by 18 year old lotta thomése. Inspired by shoegaze bands like whirr, my bloody valentine, fleeting joys and cocteau twins. so expect lots of reverb, fuzz and staring at shoes!
