Tropical indie wildfire
Leoparte is a 7-piece tropical indie wildfire from Utrecht and Rotterdam. Hailing from a variety of backgrounds, they make songs about the beauty of the world, inspired by the sounds of the globe, infused with an always-ready-to-party spirit. They have come to call their unique mix of styles, which includes indie-pop, cumbia, afrobeat and ska, ‘tropical indie’.
This June marks 10 years since their first gig and what better place to celebrate than that exact same stage! Expect a show full of the biggest classics of their 10 year existence as Leoparte joined by former bandmates, culminating in potentially the biggest group of musicians to ever fit on ACU’s stage!
Before they hit the stage, Leoparte is joined by Droomboter (postpunk in Dutch) and Kimberley (sweet indie rock).
And the party don’t stop there! DJ Klapsalon will play his sweet global dance tunes till deep into the night!
