ACU heeft kennisgenomen van de aangekondigde demonstratie naar aanleiding van recente gebeurtenissen. Wij willen duidelijk stellen dat wij iedere vorm van geweld afwijzen. Elk verlies van leven is tragisch.

ACU is een politiek-culturele ontmoetingsplek. Wij bieden al decennialang ruimte aan muziek, debat en maatschappelijke initiatieven. Onze kernwaarden zijn solidariteit, gelijkwaardigheid en collectieve verantwoordelijkheid. Wij geloven in een samenleving waarin mensen naar elkaar omkijken en verschillen vreedzaam worden besproken.

Onze prioriteit ligt bij het organiseren van culturele activiteiten in een veilige en respectvolle omgeving voor bezoekers, vrijwilligers en artiesten.

Wij roepen op tot kalmte en verantwoordelijkheid. Verdere escalatie of polarisatie draagt niet bij aan veiligheid of aan een constructieve samenleving. De veiligheid van onze medewerkers, vrijwilligers, artiesten en bezoekers staat voor ons altijd voorop. Wij nemen signalen en bedreigingen serieus en doen ons uiterste best daar zorgvuldig naar te handelen.

We want to clearly state that we reject any form of violence. Every loss of life is tragic.

ACU is a political and cultural meeting space. For decades, we have provided room for music, discussion, and social initiatives. Our core values are solidarity, equality, and collective responsibility. We believe in a society where people look out for one another and differences are addressed peacefully.

Our priority is to organize cultural activities in a safe and respectful environment for visitors, volunteers, and artists.
