come in alone is the home of shoegaze in utrecht. since its inception in early 2025, five sold-out shows have put some of the best shoegaze and dreampop talent in the netherlands on the map.
on april 24th, we’re back with 3 upcoming bands recently making waves in the dutch shoegaze scene: biatlón, mother johnson & glider!
get ready for another thrilling night of reverb, distortion and massive volume. bring earplugs!
biatlón
Hi! We are Biatlón, a brand-new indie band based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Started as a dream-pop band inspired by jangle pop, Sarah Records and C86 aesthetic, etс, currently moving toward a denser sound, closer to classic shoegaze bands like Slowdive. After forming at the end of 2024, the band dropped 3 singles and performed a few gigs at Amsterdam and Delft. At the moment we’re actively working on recording material for our upcoming EP (which we’re planning to release in summer-fall) and getting ready for new live performances.

The four children of Mother Johnson deliver a high-contrast blend of space-rock grit and dream-pop haze. From the profoundly philosophical to the elightfully absurd, they’ve got everything you didn’t know you were looking for.
glider
Utrecht band Glider er throws some punk, a huge part noise, a bit of symphonic metal, a slice of dreampop and a lot of experimental guitarsounds in the blender to create its own unique style of shoegaze.
