Charnel Ground presents: A Crude Transmissions Fundraiser
On the 10th of Charnel Ground returns to ACU in Utrecht for an evening of noise, heavy electronics and drone with:
The [Law-Rah] Collective:
The [law-rah] collective is a (mostly) utrecht-based collective of artists led by Bauke van der Wal. They work with words, sounds, rhythm, structure, chaos and anything they can get their hands on.
In the field of electronic music active since 2001, but the first seeds were planted in 1993.
Kamloops:
Steffan de Turck mainly works with field recordings from different origins which are edited, layered and processed into sound collages. Since the early 2000s he has been creating, performing and releasing music under the monikers of staplerfahrer and Kamloops.
Geseling:
Focused and densely textured harsh noise combining scrap metal, field recordings, feedback and electromagnetic interference.
Thom Floris:
Thom Floris is a sound artist and part of Enschede’s Black Brick collective. His process mainly involves sampling memetic tropes and utilizing further DSP (Digital Signal Processing) in order to create blithering and frantic compositions
Uitgeschakeld:
Highly focused and harsh textures by Utrecht’s own Casper van der Veen (Radical Vitality).
All funds raised will go directly towards Crude Transmissions, Netherlands anual noise gathering in Leiden.
