THE [LAW-RAH] COLLECTIVE is an experimental electronic project from utrecht in the netherlands, founded by bauke van der wal and conceived as a fluid collective of collaborators from different artistic fields. their music moves within the realms of dark ambient, drone, and minimal electronic sound design, characterized by slowly evolving textures, deep atmospheric layers, and a strong conceptual approach to composition. rather than traditional song structures, their releases often unfold as immersive sonic narratives, creating cinematic environments that explore themes of memory, isolation, and introspection while maintaining a restrained yet emotionally resonant aesthetic.
Kryptogen Rundfunk is an experimental sound project started in 2002 in St. Petersburg, Russia and
currently based in Amstelveen, The Netherlands. The project works with analogue electronics, radio
waves, electromagnetic interference and found sounds, creating sophisticated aural images, often
exploring extreme areas of the sonic spectrum. The purpose of these experiments is to temporarily
switch off listeners’ rational perception and immerse them into the direct experience of abstract sound.
During the 20 years of its activity, the project has recorded several studio albums released by European
and Russian labels, and performed numerous live gigs, both solo and in collaboration with many local and
international artists. Among the most well-known names to share the stage with were Einstürzende
Neubauten, Ben Frost, Bad Sector, Jacob Kirkegaard, Aube, Clock DVA, and Brighter Death Now.
Artem Ostapchuk, the man behind this project, is also the founder of the Zhelezobeton record label, which
became one of the biggest distributors of experimental music in Russia, but was closed in 2022 because
of relocation to The Netherlands. At present time, Artem operates Base Station label
and Fonodroom distribution.

Death Mask is sonic nullification Heavy modulating synths and a guttural voice explore territories of submission that go beyond gender, beyond the human condition, and into the occult. With their words it tries to translate the gut feeling and the visceral we all know so well. That which has no words and is felt in our guts. Voicing its intense fears and death euphoria. To let us die to our own body and ego. They will release their debut album on Deathbed Tapes this autumn.
