John Coffey is one of the most explosive bands The Netherlands have ever spawned. Using punk and rock-‘n-roll as a container for all their energy, David Achter de Molen and his band mates have built a reputation reaching from Russia to the United States, conquering countless festival stages across Europe. In 2016, they unexpectedly took a hiatus, only to return six years later, more menacing than ever. Their comeback came with sold out shows, massive festivals and a new generation of fans, and their DIY spirit culminated in their very own Coffey Fest. The band has cemented itself as a voice on social justice and political urgency, and still is a collective that thrives on tension and friction.
