RETREAT TOUR 2026: Maryscoovy + the Velcro + Honey Blonde

Breathe in for a legendary formation. 3 hungry bands from all corners of the country with a mix of Garage, Punk, Rock, Surf/Skate and above all a good balance of going all out. These bands are in for a Retreat, together with you.

Maryscoovy (Friesland)

From a small, filthy kitchen in a tiny Frisian village, some drunk-ass rats are cooking you up a crunchy, fuzzed-out garage-psych-punk sandwich with a special homemade sauce.

The recipe takes plenty from the early-2000s freak-rock scene, then gets fucked with until it tastes like MARYSCOOVY. In 2026, they served up Bizarre Cast of Characters: eleven tracks self-recorded in the Rathaus and Ratoffice, still stinking of rat piss and sewer mud.

The Velcro (The Hague)

Emerging from The Hague’s underground, THE VELCRO fuses surf, punk and psychedelic fuzz into an explosive, high-energy sound. Known for their rawn live shows packed with sweat, mosh pits and chaos, the band is rapidly making a name for itself.

With their own Velcro Fest, a Nobel Award finalist spot and a support show for MAD FOXES, THE VELCRO proved they were ready for the next step. That step came in 2026, when they closed one of the showcase stages at ESNS, cementing their reputation as a must-see live act.

Honey Blonde (Utrecht)

Honey Blonde is a pink-punk band from Utrecht. Inspired by the new wave of the riot grrrl movement, this feminist foursome creates no-nonsense girl punk with a sweet edge. Honey Blonde draws inspiration from commitment issues, annoying men, and hangovers. With a danceable, high-energy mix of punk and pop, Honey Blonde wants to show that punk can be not only loud and fierce, but also vulnerable and joyful. With relatable and catchy songs, Honey Blonde hopes to connect misfits and cool kids alike!
